she was raised on a dairy farm in which she have memories of daily chores such as milking cows, unloading hay, forking manure, picking rocks out of fields, just to name a few.
she was very active in Jr. and Sr. High-school, participating in all the sports that were offered at the K-12 school known as Shanksville-Stonycreek Joint School.
she was not playing any sports at college and started exercising at the small college gym . This was where all the football players and wrestlers worked out. she found out she was naturally gifted with strength and asked one of the guys who competed locally in bodybuilding if he would show her the ropes.
6 months after she started training, she competed in her first ANBC competition and won the overall. 2000 was the year she decided to jump on the NPC National stage at the Jr. USA's, taking 1st in the Heavyweights, and then Nationals, placing 4th in the middleweights.2001 was her most rewarding year thus far, placing 3rd in the Heavyweights at the USA's in July, and then winning the Overall at Nationals.
