Made her debut as an international model in Paris in 2002.
Became captain of the South Africa women's national rugby union team in June 2004 in the series against Wales. They lost the first test 5-8 in Port Elizabeth and the second test 15-16 at Loftus Versfeld.
In April 2005 she was chosen as one of 10 “Beauties of Sport” in a contest being run by SA Sports Illustrated.
In October that year she was involved in a motor accident in which a pedestrian was killed.
